Steve Balesteri and the Uptown Sound performed an amazing, upbeat, non-stop set that set the mood for the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy Gala’s After Party. The energy from the bank was drawn out right into the crown the entire night. The dance floor was packed with everyone else dancing in their seats. Major compliments were given throughout the evening and post event. We will definitely be inviting Steve and the Uptown Sound back for next year’s Gala!

Steve was extremely easy to work with and accommodated all of our requests creating an evening enjoyed by all! Our Gala included guests with a wide range of ages and Steve ensured that everyone would hear songs that they would love and want to dance to. The dance floor was never empty - the entire evening!! More attendees than I can count told me how talented, wonderful, and fun Steve and his band were! I can not recommend Steve’s band more highly. I loved them so much that I just booked him for my daughter’s wedding!”

I cannot say enough about Steve and Uptown Sound! We reached out to Steve to play at our 30th anniversary celebration. As a nonprofit, we had a tight budget, but a big vision. We have had the pleasure of Steve playing solo at some of our smaller events, but we were set on bringing in the band for our big celebration! Steve is absolutely incredible to work with. We discussed timing and pricing, and Steve made it all work! The band was one detail we definitely did not have to stress about! He was so helpful and responsive during the planning stages. Steve also showed up a little early the night of the event to ensure enough set up time and to talk with us before he started performing. I appreciated this little detail so much!
Uptown Sound was perfect for our Roaring Twenties themed event. They combined classic hits with modern music. Our guest absolutely LOVED the band. The dance floor was never empty and I lost count of the number of compliments we received on the band! The music was great. Steve incorporated all the music we requested and read the crowd to keep the hits coming. I would definitely recommend Uptown Sound for any event or celebration you have coming up. You will definitely not be disappointed!

Amazing sound!
Steve and his band were amazing! Steve was so accommodating with any changes and he was able to play a lot of the songs requested. They kept the crowd dancing, including myself all night. The band has such a good sound and I’m so happy I booked them for my wedding!

Better than I could imagine
Steve and the band were incredible for our wedding. Communicating with Steve before and leading up to the wedding was seamless and he made it so easy. I knew we were in great hands. Would 100% recommend them to anyone! They even learned our first dance song for us.

Exceeded every expectation!!
Steve was so easy to work with from the beginning! Live music was the only must have for my husband and I on our big day, and we were SO happy with our choice to go with Steve and his amazing band. Excellent band

Incredible music and a joy to work with
Steve went above and beyond to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. With changing plans due to Covid, he was responsive, flexible, and accommodating. The music for the ceremony and reception was SO beautiful. He has an incredible voice and style. One of the most frequent compliments we received regarding the wedding was how amazing the music was. We are blessed to be having a second wedding celebration next year where we can include more family and friends, and are so excited for Steve and the Uptown Sound to be a part of that event as well!

Best wedding band ever
To start, Steve and his band were incredible, they sound great and have such a wide range of songs. Steve’s ability to both sing, play guitar, and MC is unbeatable especially at a price that is affordable! Steve answers promptly and always emails back himself, it’s never someone who has to take the time to ask him questions and takes days to get back. Steve is flexible, understanding, helpful, and always willing to work with you to make your event the best it can be. Everyone who attended our wedding asked about the band and complemented how amazing they were. I don’t plan on ever getting married again but I would have them at another event in a heartbeat and will always recommend!!
